The American Civil War Museum of Ohio is a not-for-profit organization formed to satisfy the need for a unique educational museum by collecting, preserving, and interpreting the American Civil War and its impact on the current generation of American people. The Civil War exhibits feature artifacts, dioramas, mannequins, informational display boards, and a 20 minute videos. Through our focus on the American Civil War and Ohio’s involvement, we are positioned as a premier source of education and enjoyment. Our offerings include a diverse range of programs and activities, ensuring a fresh experience for even the most frequent visitors. Features include 8 main exhibit areas, educational learning centers, gift shop, research library, and a presentation room.

History buffs and families will learn about the Civil War and Ohio’s role in this unique educational center meant for all ages. This 10,000 sq. ft. facility offers exhibits, research library, theatre, gift shop, and 40 hands-on activities. If you’re planning a visit on a Saturday, please call in advance.

Admission prices: Adults $6, Seniors (over 55) $5, Students $3, Children under 6 free, ACWMO members free, military discounts for active duty & immediate family: Adult $3, Students $1.50. Parking located in back of building. Free parking for cars and buses. Handicap accessible entrance in back.
