Fostoria Heritage Home Tour

Fostoria Heritage Home Tour

Sunday, May 15, 2022 - 1:00pm

The Fostoria Area Historical Society is sponsoring the Heritage Home Tour. Six historic buildings are available for touring: 223 West Tiffin St., 105 North Main St., 133 East South St., 113 East Tiffin St., 414 West Fremont St., or 707 North Countyline St.

For those who already obtained tickets, one of the locations has changed. The home located at 336 S. Main St., is no longer available for touring, however, the Foster Museum, 105 N. Main St. has been added. Tickets can be obtained for a $20 donation prior to Sunday at the Fostoria Senior Citizen Center, 125 W. North St., the Fostoria Learning Center, 342 Perry St., or from any Historical Society board member. Tickets can be obtained on Sunday at any of the historical buildings on the tour for a $25 donation.

A guide will be available at each of the historical buildings to lead the tour and provide historical background. Those who are opening their homes for the tour will receive a piece of art, a rendering of their home done by a local artist.

Steve Cramer, the President of the Fostoria Area Historical Society, shares “We have not had a Heritage Home Tour in many years and are excited to bring it back. We are planning some special events for the community this year including a vintage car show this fall.”
