SpiritSpace, located in the St. Francis Spirituality Center, is the showcase for the Earth ‘n Sisters Pottery of Sister Jane Frances Omlor and the handicrafts of other Sisters of St. Francis. The sisters’ handicrafts are many and varied, including note cards, crocheted doilies, potpourri, cross stitch, and woodcarvings. SpiritSpace also showcases the work of local artists, including basket maker David Fitzpatrick, jewelry maker Amy Recker, woodworker Eugene Phillips, and Bud Krupp, garden stones. SpiritSpace carries Equal Exchange tea, chocolate, and coffee; crafts produced in El Salvador, and tote bags from Cuernavaca, Mexico. You’ll find Acadia scented candles, sculpture by Timothy Schmalz, whimsical solar wind chimes, mobiles, and rainbow makers, books, CDs, handmade rosaries, books, and much, much more.
