Make a Full Day of Your Visit

Big Boy No. 4014 is scheduled to be on public display from 9:00 AM to 3:00 PM at the Norfolk Southern Fostoria Automotive Distribution Center. After viewing Big Boy, continue exploring local businesses, restaurants, shopping, family activities, and the Iron Triangle Mini Rail Fest.

Keep the excitement going at the Rail Park with food trucks, nonprofit organizations, railroad vendors, merchandise, train viewing, and activities throughout the day.

History in the Making

Following the public display, the Rail Park will host Fostoria’s unofficial world record attempt to create the Largest Human Image of a Train. The official photo is scheduled for approximately 4:30 PM, and more than 1,000 people are registered to participate.

East Tiffin Street will be closed from 10:00 AM to 4:00 PM for family activities, including:

Shop train-themed tumblers, whistles, cookies, bracelets and other merchandise, along with special in-store pricing. Visitors can also enjoy refreshments, cookies, water, children’s activities, train wristbands, temporary train tattoos, a bounce house, cornhole and life-size Connect 4.

Special Monday hours will also be available for visitors arriving early.

Children can decorate their own train while supplies last. On Monday evening, enjoy freshly made s’mores beginning at 6:00 PM while supplies last.

Kick off the Big Boy celebration early with a full bar and axe throwing. League members throw free with the purchase of any drink.

Stop in for drinks, friendly competition and train celebration fun before Tuesday’s festivities.

Enjoy $2.50 cheese pizza slices, $3 pepperoni slices, $6 ten-inch cheese pizzas and $6.75 ten-inch one-item pizzas. Gluten-free and cauliflower crust options will be available.

Bottled soda, bottled water, $2.25 tap beer and six-beer buckets for $12 will also be offered.

The brewery is family friendly and is located beside the Downtown Fostoria family activities.
