As the leaves change color, temperatures drop, pumpkins get picked, and corn mazes get solved, you will not want to miss out on the Fall festivities and fun right here in your own backyard!  Check out below for a highlight of some Fall events and activities you can enjoy! 

Every weekend in October

Riehm Produce Farm | Barnyard Fun Weekends - Riehm Farm, 7244 OH-53, Tiffin, OH 44883

Fall is in the air and that means it is time for some Barnyard Fun on the weekends!  Come on down to Riehm Produce Farm and enjoy the day exploring, racing, sliding, jumping, and making memories with over 20 fun activities for all ages. If you haven’t already, it’s time to make coming to the farm your new favorite fall tradition!  General admission is $10. Children up to two are free. Event hours are 12 p.m. - 7 p.m. Saturday and 12 p.m. - 6 p.m. Sunday.  Mark your calendars for some fun filled weekends and fall festivities down on the Barnyard!

October 9th

 Tiffin Seneca Farmers Market - 9am, Jefferson Street, Downtown Tiffin

The Tiffin Seneca Farmers Market strives to promote the exchange of fresh, quality, local food and agricultural products between the agricultural producers of Seneca County and its residents and visitors for the purpose of supporting local growers, providing a quality product to consumers, and supporting sustainable agriculture.  Enjoy this market as vendors bring out their specialty fall goods! 

Family Fun Event - Leaves - 11am, Garlo Heritage Nature Preserve - 6777 S. SR 19, Bloomville OH 44818

Join Linda Rose in learning about the wonders of leaves, their shapes, sizes, colors, benefits to us and nature and easy ways to identify them.   A leaf craft will end the session. Registration required by email to LRose@senecacountyparks.com at least 24 hours in advance of the program. All ages. 11AM to 2PM.

The UrbanWoody Brewery Oktoberfest - 12pm, The UrbanWoody Brewery (105 E Tiffin St, Fostoria, OH 44830)

TUWB's first annual Oktoberfest! Sample beer from Funky Turtle, Upside Brewing and The Laird Arcade Brewery. The Fostoria Beer Mile will also be taking place. There will also be inflatables, kids games, a cornhole tournament, food trucks, and live music!

October 13th

Fall Canoe Float - 5pm, Garlo Heritage Nature Preserve - 6777 S. SR 19, Bloomville OH 44818

Join Angie Ford as we canoe the pond at Garlo and take in the beauty of the fall season and check out the pre-winter preparations of all the animals. Registration required by email to LRose@senecacountyparks.com at least 24 hours in advance of the program.

October 15th 

Bottoms on Bales Wagon Ride - 6pm, Bowen Nature Preserve - 11891 E. County Road 24, Republic OH 44867

Two time slots available on Friday, October 15 at 6:00PM and 6:45PM.  To celebrate the park district’s 25th anniversary, we will host two wagon rides. Put your bottom on a hay bale as we take a wagon ride around the grassland fields. Please specify which time frame you would prefer as registration is limited. Registration required by email to LRose@senecacountyparks.com at least 24 hours in advance of the program.

October 16th

Tiffin Zombie Run - 9am, Forrest Nature Preserve Tiffin, OH 44883

The Tiffin Zombie Run is a fun 5K run or run/walk open to all ages.  Try to finish the race without having the zombies hidden throughout the course steal one of the sashes you will be wearing!  Participants can register online until noon the day before the race for $30 or in person the day of the race.  Day of registration will be $35, and participants are not guaranteed a shirt.  Registration will begin at 9:00am, race will begin at 10:00am.  All ages are welcome!  Refreshments will be provided. Awards given for best costume and placement in race according to age and gender.  Award ceremony taking place shortly after the race!  All proceeds will go to CASA of Seneca, Sandusky, and Wyandot Counties.  CASA trains people in the community to advocate for abused and neglected children in court. CASA volunteers make sure the best interest of the child does not get overlooked throughout the court process.  Register here. 

Downtown Tiffin Pumpkin Stroll - 10am, Downtown Tiffin

Don’t miss the fall event of the year in beautiful Downtown Tiffin!  Spend the day strolling from business to business gathering fall themed treats!  A confirmation email will be sent after ticket purchase, which can be presented at The Renaissance of Tiffin, 129 S. Washington St., the day of the event (starting at 9:30 a.m.) for walkers to receive their ticket (with map) and a bag.  Walkers are asked to follow all CDC guidelines and respect the masking policies in place at individual businesses.  Tickets are available at Simply Susan’s or online.

October 21st

Thriller Night of Lights - 7pm, Seneca County Opportunity Center 

Thriller Night of Lights!  Take a non-spooky night drive filled with spectacular Jack-O'-Lanterns decorated by the Seneca County Community!  If you or your organization would like to create Jack-O’-Lanterns or donate supplies, please contact Joan Fredritz at 419-447-7521 ext. 1134 or jfredritz@senecadd.org. **BACKUP Weather Date:  Saturday, October 23rd, 2021 from 7-8:00p.m. **

JAM's Monthly Markets - JAM's Halloween Market - 4-7pm, 145 Madison St. Tiffin, OH 44883

JAM's Market brings together small businesses, boutique vendors, artists and crafters for a unique shopping experience. JAM’s Monthly Markets, 145 Madison St. will take place every third Thursday weekend, Thursday through Sunday, along with three large vendor events throughout the year.  Enjoy this special halloween and fall themed market this month!

Campfire, Stories, Smores - 5:30pm, Garlo Heritage Nature Preserve - 6777 S. SR 19, Bloomville OH 44818

Join Angie Ford for a cozy night around the campfire, a few smores and some good ole fashioned storytelling.  Bring a favorite campfire story of your own to share with the group. Registration required by email to LRose@senecacountyparks.com at least 24 hours in advance of the program.

October 24th

JAM's Monthly Markets - JAM's Halloween Market - 11am - 3pm, 145 Madison St. Tiffin, OH 44883

JAM's Market brings together small businesses, boutique vendors, artists and crafters for a unique shopping experience. JAM’s Monthly Markets, 145 Madison St. will take place every third Thursday weekend, Thursday through Sunday, along with three large vendor events throughout the year.  Enjoy this special halloween and fall themed market this month! 

October 28th

Autumn Hike - 4pm, Steyer Nature Preserve - 5901 N. County Road 33, Tiffin OH 44883

Join Linda Rose on the trail as we take in the autumn air, sights and sounds.  How any different autumn events are happening in the preserve?  This walk will last about 1 ¼ hours and qualifies for the Walking Stick Program. Registration required by email to LRose@senecacountyparks.com at least 24 hours in advance of the program.

October 29th

3rd Thursday in Downtown Tiffin: Halloween Trick or Treat - 4:30pm, Downtown Tiffin 

Bring the kids for the annual downtown trick-or-treat from 4:30-6:00. Then grab your friends for an early Halloween fun night out.  Shop, grab a drink… and maybe dinner and dessert too!

October 31st

Tiffin Halloween Parade - 4pm, Downtown Tiffin

Join us as we continue the tradition of the Tiffin Halloween Parade!  This year, the Tiffin Halloween Parade will be in Downtown Tiffin to allow for more room for social distancing.  Brian Bower - loanDepot will be this year's sponsor for the parade!  All are invited to attend, bring a chair and the whole family and line the streets!  

Fostoria Halloween Parade - 5pm, Downtown Fostoria 

The City of Fostoria is excited to host the fun and festive tradition of the annual Halloween Parade in downtown Fostoria.

Greater Tiffin Community Trick or Treat - 6 - 8pm, City of Tiffin 

Grab those costumes and get the candy!  The whole family is invited to venture out to enjoy the annual trick or treat all throughout Tiffin!
