Attica's Autumn Village Day

If you don’t have plans for Saturday, September 30th, The Attica Event Committee invites you to attend the FIRST Attica Autumn Day from 10 am - 4 pm. In late July, a few of us decided that we wanted to make Attica the hometown we can all be proud of, and to bring the feeling of community back to the village, we created Attica Autumn Day. Working with the Attica Sons of the Legion, who will be hosting their Second Annual Car and Truck Show at the Attica Fairgrounds, there will surely be something for everyone.

The Vendor Fair, located in downtown Attica, will have several vendors with a variety of items that we are sure will be perfect no matter what you’re looking for. The Seneca East Public Library will host kids' games and crafts and sell fresh baked bread and books. Food trucks will be set up throughout the event to get something tasty to eat, as well as Smitty’s Pizza.

The Sons of the Legion will be providing shuttles to and from the Fairgrounds to downtown Attica from 12 - 4 pm so that everyone can take part in the Car and Truck Show and visit Attica’s Veterans Memorial as well as the Vendor Fair. There will also be additional food trucks at the Fairgrounds to ensure no one goes home hungry.

As the event closes, we are excited to provide an opportunity for everyone to come together for the First Community Square Dance from 3 - 6 pm. The event will be held Downtown by the Village Offices. During the square dance, there will be fellowship, music, laughs, and maybe even some great and unexpected dance moves.

The Attica Community Church is sponsoring Smitty’s Ice Cream Cart for FREE ice cream for those who attend.

We are excited about our first event and are thrilled that our community is coming together to do great things.

So please join us on this fabulous fall day, take in the fall decorations, do some shopping, stop at our photo area for the perfect fall photo, cruise through the car and truck show, spend some time at the Veterans Memorial, and admire the amazing work honoring those we have lost fighting for our freedom, and end the night with squaring dancing and ice cream.

It will for sure be the PERFECT Autumn Day!
