FACT Hosts 3rd Annual Pound Out Cancer Fundraiser to Support Local Cancer Patients

FACT (Financial Assistance for Cancer Treatment) will host the 3rd Annual Pound Out Cancer fundraiser on Saturday, April 12, 2025, from 11 AM to 3 PM at Tiffin University’s Marion Center, 235 Miami Street in Tiffin, OH. The event will include a silent auction, a 50/50 drawing, and a Pound Rockout Workout class from 12:30 PM to 1:30 PM. The Pound workout can be completed standing or sitting and is for all bodies and ability. The silent auction opens at 11 AM, with bidding closing at 2:15 PM and winners announced at 2:30 PM.

FACT, a nonprofit organization founded in 1990, provides financial assistance to local cancer patients for costs not covered by insurance. In the past 12 years, FACT has provided over $2 million in support. In 2024, the organization served 218 patients, each receiving up to $5,000 in financial assistance. FACT’s funding comes entirely from community donations and fundraising efforts like the Pound Out Cancer event. All proceeds from the event will benefit FACT and its mission to assist cancer patients in Seneca County.

Those interested in supporting the event can attend, donate auction items, or become a sponsor. Sponsorship opportunities range from $150 to $550 and include recognition on event materials, shirts, and signage. Sponsorships must be submitted by March 19, 2025, and silent auction donations must be received by March 24, 2025. Donations and event sign-ups can also be made online at Pound Out Cancer Store.
