Red, white, and blue are taking over as Seneca County heads into the biggest celebration of summer! As we head into the heart of the holiday weekend, our local communities are keeping the energy high with a stellar lineup of parades, live entertainment, and family activities. From morning car shows to evening light displays, there are plenty of ways to celebrate across the county. Check out the full schedule of community celebrations below to plan your holiday weekend.

Green Springs, OH- July 3rd

Small-town charm meets big summer fun! The Village of Green Springs is proud to host its annual Independence Day Celebration on Friday, July 3rd, at the Green Springs Fire Department. The day kicks off with a lively community parade and features vendors and activities for all ages, concluding with a brilliant fireworks show at dusk. Gather your family and friends for a fantastic day of celebration!

Fireworks Begin at Dusk

Tiffin, OH | July 4th

Get ready for an exciting day of patriotism and community spirit! The City of Tiffin is thrilled to host its annual 4th of July Celebration on Saturday, July 4th, at Hedges-Boyer Park. This festive event features a full day of food and family fun, highlighted by the fifth annual Cruisin’ Thru the Years Car Show and a spectacular evening light display scheduled to begin around 10:00 PM.

Attendees are encouraged to park off-site and walk to the park for ease of access to exit at the conclusion of fireworks.

Fostoria, OH | July 5th

The City of Fostoria is excited to host this year’s Independence Day Celebration on Sunday, July 5th, at Foundation Park. It is set to be a fabulous day of community celebration featuring a variety of local vendors and a spectacular fireworks display to cap off the night. Gather your family and head out to Foundation Park to enjoy good food, music, and patriotic fun with the community!

Let Freedom Ring Special Event | July 4th

As part of a nationwide initiative, the Stemtown Historical Society Museum will be celebrating the ringing of the Calvary Church bell for the first time in nearly four years. This milestone was made possible by a project contract awarded to Universal Historic Building Restoration of Tiffin, Ohio, with funding that allowed for the complete restoration of the bell tower. Now, the Stemtown Historical Society Museum is proud to ring the bell in all its glory while also letting freedom ring in celebration of America’s 250th birthday. To join in the festivities, the event will be held at 2:50 pm on July 4th at the Stemtown Historical Society Museum in Green Springs, Ohio.

This Independence Day week promises to be an unforgettable celebration of community, history, and hometown pride.
