The dementia support group meets the second Thursday of each month at 6 p.m. in the multi-purpose room at St. Francis Home. The group’s purpose is to provide educational and social opportunities and an avenue for group sharing for persons who are coping with a loved one with dementia.
Many who attend the meetings find them to be helpful. They hear how others have coped or are coping with similar situations. By sharing and learning from others’ experiences, they find it easier to work through issues and make decisions regarding their loved ones.
