Abbott's Bridge Scenic River Access

Abbott’s Bridge Scenic River Access, is south of County Road 30 (also referenced as E Township Road 152) in Pleasant Township about 7 miles north of the city of Tiffin.

The access includes more than 29 acres with 0.68 miles of access along the north side of the Sandusky River. This acreage is split by Abbott’s Bridge which follows North County Road 33. There is an additional 2.755 acres along 350 feet of the south side of the Sandusky River east side of County Road 33.

Parking for the preserve is at this portion of the access site which is owned by the Ohio Department of Natural Resources. The canoe launch area is accessible from the parking lot which also services the Seneca County Park District’s Steyer Nature Preserve. The Abbott’s Bridge and the access site’s parking area were both recently constructed.
