MJ Brown Construction Company

The M.J. Brown Company is truly a family business that has continued to grow over the years to provide quality roofing, painting, and sheet metal services to many satisfied customers. It began in 1936 when McClelland "M.J." Brown started the company with little more than $300, a pick-up truck, paint, and roofing materials. Then, in 1953 his then future wife Carol began working in the office, and in 1965, the company became incorporated. Finally, in 1978 and 1982, his sons Mark and Matt (respectively) joined the company. What started as a one-man company has grown to one that has supplied roofing and maintenance support to companies like Uniroyal Tire as well as maintenance, roofing, and sheet metal work for companies like Whirlpool Corporation (45 years) and American Standard (more than 30 years). Today the company continues its growth and quality service under the direction of President Matt Brown and Vice President Mark Brown.
