This Saturday the Tiffin Seneca Farmers’ Market will be celebrating Christmas in July. The event will be fun for all! Activities for the day will include voting on the most festive vendor, an ugly Christmas sweater/t-shirt contest, and Christmas Crafts. There will be Christmas themed cookies, snacks and more! Market manager Kirsten Ameling said “we are looking forward to seeing families out celebrating Christmas at the market as a fun change of pace at the farmers’ market!” Voting on the favorite vendor display will go from 9-12 and the Christmas sweater/t-shirt voting will take place at noon in front of the market bank table.

The 2022 season of the Tiffin Seneca Farmers Market continues this Saturday, July 30, 9am-1pm. The vendors for this week includes: Baked By Bells, Bella Cuisine, Countryside Acres, Clay Hill Organic, Creative Pottery, Dick and Barb’s Produce, Flo’s Homemade Pies, Friends of the Tiffin Seneca Public Library, Freeze Dried Ohio, Hopes Landing, Me and the Boys, Miss Cindy’s Cookies, Project Noelle, Put Your Name on it, Raizen Girls Cookies, Riehm Produce Farm, Roseleaf Flowers, Smith Brothers Sweets, The Tiffin Elks, and Windy Wild Acres. The featured food truck will be Johnny Burritos and the music will be provided by Scott Hoernemann. Copper Mare Ranch, located at 6090 N. SR 53 right outside of Tiffin, is set to host their first rodeo on July 23 that will bring up to 75 contestants from across the country that ride in the International Professional Rodeo Circuit. Gates will open at 4 PM and presale tickets are $15 and free admission to kids ages 5 and younger. To purchase presale tickets, click here. Tickets at the gate are $20. Events for the evening include bull riding, saddle bronc, bareback, tie-down roping, breakaway roping, barrel racing, team roping, and steer wrestling.

Copper Mare’s Rocket Donkey Diner, featuring Meatwagon BBQ, will also be providing a variety of options for food throughout the night.

The ranch sits on the family farm just north of Fort Seneca. Copper Mare Ranch is an equine event center that offers three levels of boarding, riding and rodeo-style clinics and open rides. The new 20,000-square-foot indoor arena and 37,000-square-foot lighted outdoor area.

Horses boarded at the state-of-the-art facility have access to large stalls, professional feeding plans, daily turnout, as well as indoor and outdoor wash bays. Owners of horses boarded at Copper Mare Ranch will be invited to take advantage of a heated and air-conditioned rider’s lounge, and no grounds fees for shows. The ranch also has a veterinary tech on site with support from the owners who live on the grounds.

The Owner, Grant Fatzinger, has an extensive 15-year rodeo background that ranges from bull and bronc riding, team roping, tie-down roping, and two-man ranch sorting. Heather Clouse is the Director of Operations. She is a registered veterinary technician with more than 15 years’ experience in the equine industry.

The East Green Concert Series is excited for their FOURTH season of entertaining Seneca County! Head to the Frost-Kalnow Amphitheater on the East Green in Downtown Tiffin to hear a great lineup of artists this Summer. Concerts are free and family friendly. Come together with Seneca County Common Ground and the Tiffin Bicentennial for some delicious food grown right here by local producers in our own backyard. Join fellow Tiffin-ites for a farm to table dining experience to celebrate the 200th birthday of Tiffin and our tradition of local food. Lonny Gatlin, the Farm-to-Table chef for Bellwether Farms will be the guest chef for the evening! This event includes a five course meal, local beers, and wines. It will take place at the Chandelier Community Event Center, on Wednesday, August 17, 2022, beginning at 6:00 pm.

Seneca County Common Ground is a nonprofit organization created to support local food & agriculture and promote access to and knowledge of fresh foods for Seneca County residents. Vendors that are frequently at the Farmers Market including Riehm’s Produce Farm, LLC, Clay Hill Organic, Bella Cuisine, and others will be bringing fresh produce and breads to the event. The Association

Monday Night at the Movies

The Seneca County Fair will take place Sunday, July 24, 2023 through Sunday, July 31, 2023 and will be celebrating its 180th year! There will be many new and exciting events alongside the traditional favorites. There is something for everyone, all ages, interests, and backgrounds. Enjoy the friendly competition and proud display of projects and products from exhibitors that have worked so hard to accomplish and complete. Take in a night of entertainment in the grandstands with harness racing, to the demolition derby, to seeing headliner Granger Smith live, and more! Take in the sights and sounds of this Seneca County tradition and create memories that will last a lifetime. The 180th Seneca County Fair is waiting for you!

Join us in Downtown Tiffin for the Sweet Summertime Third Thursday on July 21. Sweet treats and sweet deals will be available all evening long at businesses in Downtown Tiffin!

Sweet Summertime kicks off at 4 pm. There will be food trucks in City Lot 5 and City Lot 7 beginning at 5 pm, along with music from No Eileen in City Lot 7. The Tiffin Municipal Arts Commission will set up on Court Street for the Court Street Market beginning at 5 pm for a collaboration of artist, crafters, makers, and handmade goods. The Downtown Car Cruise begins at 5 pm. Live music starts at the East Green Amphitheater at 7 pm with the Cherry Bombs. The splash pad will be open from noon to 9 pm and JAM’s Market will be open for the weekend at 145 Madison Street. JAM’s Market brings together small businesses, boutique vendors, artists and crafters for a unique shopping experience.

Taste of Tiffin | August 18 – Food and drink vendors will be set-up in the parking lot between the splash pad and the library.  Most will be selling food items for $1. Many downtown retailers and restaurants will be offering specials that night as well.

Seneca County Young professionals’ Downtown Tiffin Pizza Party | September 15 – Bring the whole family to enjoy a taste of Tiffin and Seneca County! The event will take place throughout Downtown Tiffin. Attendees can purchase $1 tickets that can be redeemed for a pizza from any vendor. Half of each ticket sold will go toward charity. 

Halloween Trick-or-Treat | October 20 – Bring the kids for the annual downtown trick-or-treat from 3:30-5:00. Then grab your friends for an early Halloween fun night out. Shop, grab a drink… and maybe dinner and dessert too!

It’s showtime! The house lights are down, the chandelier has been dimmed, and the curtain is opening. As you sit in your seat constructed to feel like the ones original to the building, eating popcorn and candy purchased at the concession stand, there’s a buzz of excitement in the air. Another great show at the Ritz Theatre is about to take place.  

The Ritz Theatre joined the downtown Tiffin scene at a time when theaters were popping up everywhere to showcase the newest entertainment craze- movies. Original builders Dan Kerwin and Adam Ritzler wanted to create a theater more beautiful than any other around, a theater where the building itself was just as integral to the enjoyment of one’s evening as the show they were going to see. If the murals on the walls ornately depicting Italian art and architecture aren’t enough to take your breath away, certainly the magnificent, larger than life chandelier in the center of the house steals the show. 

Of the four theaters built in Tiffin during the same era, the Ritz Theater is the only one still standing. The doors officially opened on December 10, 1928, hosting over 1,500 excited audience members to witness the Ritz Quality Orchestra. In 1998 the Ritz was renovated back to almost original condition, and stands as a reminder of the grandeur of movie palaces in an era long gone. 

The Ritz partners with educators throughout Northwest Ohio to create programming and Special Study Guides that allow for students to be exposed to the arts and tie their experience in the theater to the classroom. In addition, each year the Ritz brings in a number of headlining performances, comedy shows, concerts, and movie screenings. These are awesome opportunities to see renowned artists and discover up and coming performers.

It is a holiday weekend and what better way to spend it than at the farmers market? This weekend the farmers market will have the fan favorite market bingo, potato sack races, and bean bag toss games!  Some vendors will also have 4th of July themed booths!

Historical reenactors will gather at Proving Ground Farm West Saturday, June 25, through Thursday, June 30, for the annual Friends of the Old Northwest Primitive Rendezvous. The farm, owned by Seneca Conservation District, will be home for the week to living historians from Ohio, Michigan, Indiana and neighboring states as they gather to live in their canvas tents for a week, compete in black powder shooting, primitive archery and tomahawk and knife throwing as well as handle daily tasks such as cooking over campfires and practicing a variety of skills.

Featured events vary by day, but the entire camp will be open to visitors 10 a.m.-4 p.m. daily. Visitors can enjoy the scent of campfires, shop at period stores, ask questions of the participants and learn about history. Depending on the time of day, visitors might hear the sounds of a muzzleloader competition, watch people taking part in primitive archery or tomahawk-throwing competitions or listen to educational seminars.

At 11:30 a.m. Saturday, an educational program about primitive firearms is to be presented by Melvin Rowe, of Kentucky. At noon on Tuesday, Pat Stephens, of Toledo, will present an educational program, “1794: Anthony Wayne’s Legion at Fallen Timbers.” The presentation reviews the history surrounding the Battle of Fallen Timbers, which took place in present-day Maumee.

On Wednesday at 11 a.m., visitors can watch rendezvous participants take part in Highland Games, a rendition of Scottish contests in which men wearing kilts and women compete in various contests of skill and strength such as the caber toss, the sheaf pitch and the haggis toss. The games are coordinated by Kim “Hawk” Trytten, of Cincinnati, and he opens them with bagpipe music.

Admission to the event is free, but donations are encouraged.

Proving Ground Farm is at 5670 E. TR 138, Republic, OH 44867, which is about 8 miles northwest of Tiffin turning east off of SR 101.

Merlin is altering the way we hear country music with the likes of Dan+Shay and Kane Brown. She has a timbre so unique and unmatched, such as Reba McEntire, Rascal Flatts, and Jennifer Nettles. Both Kristian Bush and Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland noticed this about Merlin and invited her on stage with them in Las Vegas to duet their hit song “Baby Girl”. Kristen has also had the pleasure of joining Kellie Pickler, Bryan White, Ty Herndon, and Shakira on stage.

The Tiffin Glass Collectors Club will host the 35th Annual Artistry in American Glass Show and Sale this weekend! 

The show will take place at the Tiffin Middle School (103 Shepherd Drive, Tiffin, OH 44883) on Saturday, June 18, 2022 from 10AM to 5PM and Sunday, June 19, 2022 from 10AM to 3PM. The popular glass show has been a longstanding tradition for 35 years and this will be the first show since the start of the Covid-19 pandemic, which resulted in the last two years being cancelled. 

Glass dealers from several states will join local and area dealers at this popular glass show that attracts collectors from all over the United States. The fine tableware and decorative ware that was produced at the Tiffin Glass factory from 1892 to 1980 will be offered for sale along with other quality glassware from fellow dealers.

Admission to the show will be $5.00. The show is in a handicapped accessible facility with free parking. Lunch and snacks are available for purchase and door prizes will be awarded throughout the show.

Visitors are also encouraged to visit the Tiffin Glass Museum & Shoppe (25 – 27 S. Washington St., Tiffin, OH 44883) where over a thousand pieces of glassware and memorabilia items from the old factory are displayed. The retail shop offers Tiffin glass and other fine glassware for sale. Extended hours of 11AM to 5PM will be observed during the weekend.

About the Tiffin Glass Museum & Shoppe

The Tiffin Glass Museum honors the heritage established by the men and women of Tiffin’s “Glass House”. Through preservation and education, the museum safe-guards glassware made by the artisans from the factory’s nearly hundred-year history. Museum preservation work includes acquiring memorabilia and historical documents from the factory’s beginnings in 1889 until its closing in 1984. Gift Shoppe features products from the original Tiffin Glass Factory where beautiful stemware, tableware and decorative ware was produced from 1889 to 1980. In addition to the large selection of Tiffin Glass, other fine glassware, collectibles, and books are offered for sale in the multi-dealer cabinets.

Destination Seneca County has announced that Seneca County has been selected to host the 2023 Ohio Geoclash & Festival that will take place from May 31 through June 4 throughout the community, with the main event taking place at the Frost-Kalnow Amphitheater at the East Green in Downtown Tiffin.

Representatives from Destination Seneca County attended the 2022 Ohio Geoclash & Festival hosted in Trumbull County on June 11 where Ian Lengel, President of the Ohio Geocaching Association, officially announced Seneca County as the 2023 host community.

Geocaching is an outdoor treasure hunt that uses a Global Positioning System (GPS) and online clues to help participants find caches, or hidden containers. Destination Seneca County, in partnership with Geocachers Anonymous, launched the only geocaching trail in Northwest Ohio in September of 2021. Since the launch of the trail, more than 153 geocachers have completed the trail and have traveled more than 17,712 miles to Seneca County to do so. Destination Seneca County is currently working on a new interactive geocaching trail that will feature a new theme, caches, and locations.

Historically, the Ohio Geoclash & Festival draws in more than 500 geocachers into the host community throughout the week. The week prior to the festival the planning committee will place geocaches in the community that will allow geocachers the opportunity to explore Seneca County.

Ian Lengel said, “We’re looking forward to being in Seneca County for next year’s Geoclash & Festival. We choose Seneca County to be the first community in Northwest Ohio to host the festival because of the growth of geocaching in the area with the launch of the new trail in 2021. We host the festival to allow geocachers the opportunity to experience different areas of Ohio and we know they’ll support many of the small businesses through the duration of the festival.”

Seneca County Commission President Anthony Paradiso was excited about the announcement, “Seneca County is thrilled to be the host community for the 2023 Ohio Geoclash & Festival, and we look forward to welcoming them!”

The Tiffin Seneca Farmers’ Market is a Family Affair! 

When you support your local farmers market you are supporting an entire family.  

When shopping at the Tiffin Seneca Farmers’ Market customers will see kids running around and playing with other farmers market children, some early teens are experiencing their first job, and families are working together to provide fresh produce baked goods and other items to be purchased at the market. 

The Tiffin Seneca Farmers Market provides a kid friendly environment with children activities including market bingo and coloring sheets.  This week a Kona Ice truck will also be at the market for kids to enjoy. 

Farmers markets allow families to spend time together, work together, and learn and grow together. Emily Wonder, owner of Put Your Name on It 2014 said, “ For most people Saturday mornings are relaxing and family time.  Although ours may not be relaxing, it is family time. We are a family of six that are vendors at the farmers market. Everyone of us has a job that we are expected to do to prepare for the market and at the market. Most people have to find sitters for kids when they go to work, we on the other hand take our kids with us. Helping them learn responsibility but more than anything  they are forming friendships with kids that are growing up with the same hard working background. Bryce (owner of Trigger’s Farm Market) and I have also made friends with other vendors. We help each other set up, tear down and loan items when someone forgets.  Half the time we see our “Market Family” more during the season than we do our actual extended family.”

The relationships between the vendors and the customers have grown more and more with every market. All of the vendors have been Ellen Bell, Owner of Baked by Bells said, “​​As a small business owner, I love having the opportunity to share the farmer’s market experience as a family. It gives us a scheduled time to work together as a team every week and learn to appreciate the hard work and skills of other crafters and growers in the community. We have also been so lucky to find a new market family with all the great friends we have made along the way.”

Many of the vendors at the farmers market also support each other and purchase products from one another. Annie Bowers, of Goat Milk Junction said, “The farmers market is a wonderful resource for natural, homegrown and homemade items. My family benefits from it all. With being a vendor that produces natural skin, hair care and pain relief, I have a vast clientele and repeat clients. Plus the community loves it due to the fact that it is accessible to our community and they don’t have to travel very far to get what they need. Fresh produce being one of those items, is a staple in many households like mine. So while I am a vendor at these markets I am also a customer.”

The farmers market is also a way for families to be created and do better for a common good. Leah Cordy, Owner of Hope’s Landing said, “The Tiffin Seneca Farmers Market gives us a place to sell our products directly to our community. All of our products are made by local survivors of human trafficking and domestic violence, so the ability to sell at this market puts money directly into survivor’s pockets. The market is also a great way to spend a Saturday morning with my family and friends, while in the heart of surrounding downtown businesses. There’s something for everyone!”

The Farmers Market also gives community members a way to get involved. Marilyn Seislove, Principal Calvert Elementary said, “I think the farmers market is a wonderful experience for the families in Tiffin. There is something for everyone, both old and young. This past week Calvert offered face painting and I think it was fabulous. The kids absolutely  loved it!! The expressions on their faces were priceless. The market provides local homegrown fruits and vegetables, handmade items, and a time to chat  with old friends. It is an opportunity that reminds me of days gone by. It is reminiscent of the way things used to be in small towns.”

The Seneca County Museum’s 2022 speaker series continues next month, as a Heidelberg English professor presents on an influential person from Tiffin who is unknown by many.

Do you think you have heard of every important native Tiffinite over the last 200 years? John Quinn seems to have escaped the attention of many people, including local historians. Join Dr. Barry Devine, who is an Assistant Professor of English at Heidelberg University, as he presents a program on Quinn on June 9th, at 7 p.m. at the Seneca County Museum.

John Quinn was born in Tiffin in 1871. After a disappointing career in New York’s Tammany Hall politics, he earned two law degrees and opened a practice in New
York City. He worked with some of the most famous figures of the early 20th century, including writers like T. S. Eliot, artists like Pablo Picasso, and even got involved in the Irish Revolution with the Easter Rising leader, Roger Casement. He collected over 2,000 rare books and manuscripts from writers like James Joyce, Joseph Conrad, and Matthew Arnold. Quinn’s legacy is widely recognized in the fields of modern art, rare manuscripts, and publishing history.

Join Devine at the Seneca County Museum to learn how Quinn went from his father’s Tiffin bakery to become one of the most influential, yet invisible, figures of the 20th century.

Devine’s areas of specialty include Irish literature, literary modernism and early 20th century publishing. The free program will be held Thursday, June 9th at 7:00 p.m. at the Seneca County Museum located at 28 Clay Street.

The East Green Park is a beautiful and serene escape on the corner of Jefferson Street and Market Street in the heart of downtown Tiffin. The grass is green, and the flowers are in bloom and many visitors and families have been enjoying the park for picnics and leisurely strolls.

The East Green Foundation will be opening the Play Fountain at National Corner on the East Green Memorial Day Weekend, Friday May 27^th from 12:00 pm to 9:00pm with a spectacular light and water show to follow. The play fountain will remain open daily throughout the summer 12:00pm to 9:00pm through Labor Day weekend with lighted shows in conjunction with Third Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays.

“We are delighted to be able to bring the Play Fountain back to the community daily throughout the summer thanks to our newly installed recirculation system and partnership with the Tiffin Parks and Recreation department. In addition, we will also have music playing from our newly installed speaker system.” stated Mike Klepper, President of the Foundation.

The newly renovated Tiffin Drive-In Theater will celebrate its Grand Re-Opening Weekend over the Memorial Day holiday weekend of Friday, May 27th through Sunday, May 29th. 

The theater opened its 2022 season on April 8 after a year-and-a-half of major design, construction, and expansion to the facility. The Grand Re-Opening Weekend will serve as the new facility’s official ‘Hello’ to the community. It will also launch the theater’s Moonlite Diner daytime ice cream diner and grill and roll the theater into the summer blockbuster phase of the drive-in season.

The weekend will kick off with a ribbon-cutting event hosted by the Seneca Regional Chamber of Commerce Ambassadors on Friday at 4 pm. Gates will open for Friday’s show at 6 pm. The movie centerpiece of the weekend is the highly anticipated premiere of the all-American action-adventure Top Gun: Maverick, starring Tom Cruise.  

“We’ve redesigned, rebuilt, rebranded, and reimagined the entire theater,” said new owner Michael Cole. “We wanted to carry on the tradition of the theater but create a unique facility that would allow us to take some new approaches to how to do a drive-in theater.”

The facility’s new food diner hearkens back to a 1950s eatery, complete with checkerboard floor and shiny metallic trim. Yet the cinematic presentation is generated by some of the latest and best equipment in the world.

“I think of our theater as a blast from the past with a state-of-the-art twist,” Cold said.

The prime example of this is the theater’s Screen 1 projector, the Barco Sp4k 55 laser cinema projector. The unit is the newest, brightest, sharpest, most powerful laser cinema projector in the world. And the Tiffin Drive-In Theater is the only theater in the world who has it.

“It’s really a hoot that the most powerful cinema projector in the world is right here in our little drive-in in Tiffin, Ohio!” Cole said. “But it really is true. You won’t find a better picture on any drive-in theater screen anywhere. The image it puts on that giant screen is spectacular. It’s just unbelievably sharp. The brightness gives the picture a tremendously rich color palette, and the audiences love it.”

In addition to the new building and new equipment, the facility is surrounded by a social plaza with picnic tables where customers can dine and mingle before and during the shows. The theater’s lot was also expanded by 45 parking spots to accommodate larger crowds. The drive-in’s two screens were newly rebuilt back in October of 2020, the first phase of the long-term project.

The weekend will mark the opening of the theater’s diner into a newly expanded daytime ice cream and grill eatery, introducing its new name, The Moonlite Diner. New daytime ice cream treats, and snacks will complement the existing drive-in food fare of burgers, hot dogs, pizza, pretzels, french fries, ribbon fries, popcorn, and other items of the movie-time menu. Games like cornhole and ladder golf will be available for patrons to play at The Moonlite Diner, and before the drive-in movies as well. 

“The Moonlite Diner will make the Tiffin Drive-In Theater a place of good food and entertainment both day and night,” Cole said.

Prizes such as carload passes will be raffled to early-arriving movie-goers all three nights. A pre-show radio broadcast called “Tiffin Drive-in Radio” will be broadcast live over FM 87.9. The broadcast will carry music, announcements, upcoming shows, interviews, trivia, and the prize drawings before each show.

“We are building a unique atmosphere of good-natured fun and entertainment at the theater,” Cole said. “We hope everyone comes out to experience the fun and nostalgia and just plain good times waiting for them at the drive-in.”

The 2022 season of the Tiffin Seneca Farmers Market kicks off this Saturday, May 21st 9am-1pm. The market will occur every Saturdays of the month from May 21 until October 29 and is located on South Washington Street between Perry and Market streets.

This year the market will continue to operate the Market Bank programs. Board member, Hallie Williams, said “We are excited to bring back the Market Bank this year to continue to make fresh local food accessible to our community.” These programs allow fresh food to be more accessible for all residents. SNAP/EBT cards, WIC Farmers Market Vouchers, Senior Farmers Market Vouchers, and regular credit cards will all now be accepted at the market through the Market Bank program. Also available this year is Produce Perks, a fruit and vegetable incentive program that provides a $25 match on SNAP/EBT and P-EBT purchases. This means that any amount spent with SNAP/EBT or P-EBT, up to $25, will be matched dollar for dollar. Customers wishing to use their SNAP/EBT funds or credit cards can expect to visit the Market Bank to redeem tokens to shop the market.

Another program being brought back to this year’s market is “Market Bingo.” This became a fan favorite last year to children, parents, and customers of all ages. Market manager, Kirsten Ameling, said “It was fun to watch children and other customers go around the market to see what all the vendors had. Finding different types of produce also made it an educational experience for some shoppers.”

In addition to bringing back old programs the market is implementing new activities too. There will be different musicians playing at the market from time-to-time throughout the season. Dean-o, Dean Rochester, a Tiffin native will be preforming at the first market. He performs at other markets including the WLI’s Farmers’ Market, Bowling Green, Ohio. Dean said “I am looking forward to coming back to the Tiffin area where I grew up, to share my music at the market. Hope to be able to see old friends and classmates.” 

The market is also going to provide a recipe of the week. The recipe card will feature different items that are in season at the market. Make sure to stop by the market bank table to pick up a recipe and grab a market bingo card!

Taste of Tiffin | August 18 – Food and drink vendors will be set-up in the parking lot between the splash pad and the library.  Most will be selling food items for $1. Many downtown retailers and restaurants will be offering specials that night as well.

Seneca County Young professionals’ Downtown Tiffin Pizza Party | September 15 – Bring the whole family to enjoy a taste of Tiffin and Seneca County! The event will take place throughout Downtown Tiffin. Attendees can purchase $1 tickets that can be redeemed for a pizza from any vendor. Half of each ticket sold will go toward charity. 

Halloween Trick-or-Treat | October 20 – Bring the kids for the annual downtown trick-or-treat from 3:30-5:00. Then grab your friends for an early Halloween fun night out. Shop, grab a drink… and maybe dinner and dessert too!

The East Green Concert Series is excited to announce concerts are back for their fourth season; kicking off the season June 11^th at the Frost-Kalnow Amphitheater on the East Green at 8:00 PM! PRISCA is a cinematic-pop artist who is showing all of her colors in her songs as well as her ever-changing hair. Her versatility and strength as a vocalist, songwriter and piano player, will leave you wondering if she is an alien.

 

 

Kristen Merlin

This Nashville-based country pop artist works hard to move the masses with music and finds several ways to stay connected with her audiences. During her time in quarantine, Merlin often found herself utilizing the Live feature on Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok.

Merlin is altering the way we hear country music with the likes of Dan+Shay and Kane Brown. She has a timbre so unique and unmatched, such as Reba McEntire, Rascal Flatts, and Jennifer Nettles. Both Kristian Bush and Jennifer Nettles of Sugarland noticed this about Merlin and invited her on stage with them in Las Vegas to duet their hit song “Baby Girl”. Kristen has also had the pleasure of joining Kellie Pickler, Bryan White, Ty Herndon, and Shakira on stage.

 

Bassel & The Supernaturals

Wally and The Beavs

Destination Seneca County has announced that they will be planning and executing the running of the annual Heritage Festival Parade. After having to cancel the Heritage Festival the last two years as a result of the pandemic, the Heritage Festival Parade will return to Downtown Tiffin on September 17, 2022. The Heritage Festival Parade will be sponsored by Brian Bower – loanDepot and will pay tribute to Tiffin’s Bicentennial, which is being celebrated this year, and is one of the Bicentennial Celebration’s signature events.

The Heritage Festival Parade’s route will begin on South Washington Street at St. Joseph Catholic Church and go through the intersection of Riverside Drive. The parade will begin promptly at 10:30am. All are welcome to participate in the parade and can register at www.DestinationSenecaCounty.org/Parade. Parade participants are asked to be registered no later than September 9, 2022.
